What is Multi-room Entertainment?
Think of it as very much like a central heating system, but in this case, not for heat but for hi-fi stereo sound. So instead of radiators, very discrete ceiling speakers are fitted - no big black boxes and no clutter! Instead of room thermostats, you operate a simple to use in-wall keypad or volume control. These discreet keypads control what you are listening to in each room and you can easily swap the face plate of the keypad to match your choice of decor - not just now, but in the future. Systems are also supplied with infrared remote control handsets, offering a choice of control over your system.
Can my customer simply plug in a conventional Hi-Fi system?
The Modular system is designed as a plug and play product that is compatible with almost any Hi-Fi product without the need for extensive programming. Customers can simply plug in their hi-fi into the allocated wallplate in the living room and immediately hear & Control their system throughout the house.
What coverage is there for building regulations?
We have employed state of the art acoustic and fire hoods enabling the upmost protection against audio and fire leakage, complying to the latest building regulations, whilst providing comfort and safety for the household.
What is the warranty?
Armour plc provides a two year warranty on all it's products.
Who installs the cabling for the system?
Cabling is typically installed at the same time as the electrical wiring, either by one of our regional specialist installation companies or via the M&E contractor working to detailed wiring schematics.
How do I sell the system to housebuyers?
With simple options, dedicated training for showhome staff, co-branded literature and continued back up from both our regional installers and Armour plc, it could not be easier to promote the concept of multi-room home entertainment as part of your options offerings add revenue to the house sale.

Today's modern lifestyle expectations welcome the concept of multi-room entertainment. It is fast becoming the aspirational purchase in the home that can be the deciding factor for the homebuyer. Whether part installed or simply pre-cabled, it can be used as a carrot to ensure a quick sale.
Aside from differentiating your properties from the competition, offering Systemline Modular adds revenue and profit potential to the house sale through tick box selection and the ability to add the cost to the overall house price.

Building Regulations
At Systemline, we are concious of ensuring our products meet the latest building regulations for the developer market, namely Part B, Part E and Part L.
What about Fire rating and Part B?
We offer retrofittable Fire and Audio hoods that are recommended on installation. They provide 1 hour of fire rating behind the in-ceiling speakers.

For installations in Robust details sites, we recommend specifying our discreet amplified on-wall speakers which do not cut into the infrastructure of the property.
What about Part L?
The Systemline ALM3 speakers are specifically designed to meet and surpass Building Regulations part L.
Warranties & Support
All Systemline Modular products are supplied with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty for parts and labour. Purchasers will be expected to complete a warranty card upon moving in, which will be returned to AHE.
Products found to be faulty within the first three months of installation will be swapped out FOC via an advanced replacement scheme with the SRI.
Products requiring replacement after three months from date of installation will be subject to a call out charge.
All warranty issues will be handled by AHE. Full contact details (in or outside of warranty period) will be supplied on the warranty card; in addition, the hub will be labelled with AHE website details.
Technical Support
Alongside our Installation partners, AHE operates a dedicated Systemline Modular Technical Support Team. This support function is available to developers, SRIs and homeowners.
